• Membership fee includes subscription to the Australian Journal of Linguistics, and the right to present papers at the annual ALS conference. Organises the biennial Australian Linguistic Institute (ALI), a short 'school' for linguists and students of linguistics.

Linguistic Society of America (LSA)

• Membership fee includes subscription to Language, and the right to present papers at LSA meetings. Organises the biennial LSA Institute, a six/twelve week summer school for linguists and students of linguistics.

Applied Linguistics Association of Australia (ALAA)

• Membership fee includes subscription to the journal.
